When the slide frame has problems like the aluminun wheel castings breaks, or it won't lock into position, you may want to consider replaceing the entire slide frame with one of our used (functions like new) slide frames at 1/2 the price of new. This is an easy job,
If you experience any problems with the manual release system, check the handle for cracks/ wear. This is usually the first thing to cause problems with the manual release system.
Testing for a faulty switch is easy. Start with a fully charged batters. Select either upper or lower, use the switch to raise or lower the cot. If the red indicator light comes on, repeat the whole procedure. If the red indicator lights comes on again, replace the switch. Repeat this procedure with the other switch.
The hall effect sensor performs several jobs. It controlls the loading height of your cot. It works with the 'cut off' so the cot will not raise while locked into place. If your cot goes up, then stops, then goes up some more, then stops, then goes up - You need to replace this part. Also, consider replacing the cable at the same time.
This is a standard duty gas spring that is the same as the original from Stryker. In our shop we always use the HD gas spring (SK-7023HD) which has twice the warranty and if more economical in the long run.
These handles get bent and the plastic end piece is broken or the threads stripped. It's easy to replace. This handle is 15" wide. Measure your broken one to be sure you get the right part.
The yolk can be damaged when removing or installing a gas spring. The most often problem is the threads are stripped or cross threaded. Comes complete with all hardware.
This is the lubricant recommended by Stryker. It is a Teflon based product and performs well in most cases. Stryker has changed where and how to use this product a number of times. Tri Flow has a petroleum based carrier (the liquid) and when used on some plastics may have caused gumming up and softening of the plastic bearings.
These black rubber bumpers often become worn or even missing. Replace them with this handy kit that contains all necessary hardware. These work on all Stryker O2 holders. You may also want to replace those worn O2 Straps (SK-7010).
